▫︎ PetroTal donated the seedlings to GRAM to develop the activity with school children from the eight provinces of the region.

One thousand fruit and ornamental seedlings were planted by school children and volunteers in 45 educational institutions in the 8 provinces of the Loreto region, as part of the activities for World Earth Day organized by the Regional Environmental Management (GRAM) of the Regional Government of Loreto.

The activity was made possible thanks to a donation from PetroTal, operator of the Lot 95which delivered seedlings, fertilizers, caps for the activity and provided transportation facilities.at the request of GRAM.

The tree planting was simultaneous in all 45 schools and aimed to raise awareness among Loreto students about the importance and need to take care of the environment, and to generate in them a commitment to mitigate climate change.

Executives and workers of PetroTal, whose operation is located in the Puinahua district, accompanied the activity and emphasized that this is another example of the positive results of the joint work between the company and GRAM, and of the agreement they have signed.

The planting of seedlings se was complemented by an awareness-raising day aimed at the school community of Loreto, a region that is home to a vast biodiversity.
