Soon, the residents of all localities and communities of the district of Puinahua (Loreto) will be able to make payments, collections and other transactions at a Banco de la Nación (BN) agent. without the need to leave its jurisdiction, as is currently the case.

This will be possible thanks to the upcoming installation of an agent of the bank in Brittany, The project is the result of the efforts made by the District Municipality of Puinahua, with the support of PetroTal, the operator of the Lot 95.

At a meeting held at the offices of Banco de la Nacion, its representatives met with committed to implement this service, This will not only benefit the inhabitants of Puinahua, but also the inhabitants of neighboring districts such as Maquia.

After the agent has been installed, the BN will confirm the number of financial transactions in the area with a view to setting up a BN agency in the future.

The mayor of Puinahua, Giordano Mendoza, explained -with the technical support of PetroTal specialists- that the district has a growing population and a dynamic economy that justifies the stable presence of the financial institution.
