Emphasis will be placed on medical care for the most vulnerable population in the district of Loreto where the Bretaña Norte del Lote 95 camp is located..
The population of the Puinahua district (Loreto) will receive better health care thanks to the inter-institutional cooperation agreement signed by PetroTal, a company led and operated by Peruvians, and the Regional Health Management (Geresa) of Loreto.
The main objective of the agreement is to improve health coverage in the 18 localities, communities and hamlets that make up the district, with emphasis on the care of the most vulnerable population, such as mothers, pregnant women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities and people with different abilities.
The agreements and commitments of the agreement have a comprehensive approach that includes improvements in the district's health infrastructure, equipment, training of personnel that attend to the population, implementation of systems and technological tools for medical records, among other important aspects.
“Coordination with Geresa will be intensified to fulfill all the objectives of the agreement with speed, because every step we take will make a difference for our compatriots in Puinahua,” said Guillermo Flórez, PetroTal's general manager, after signing the agreement.
Percy Rojas Ferreyra, head of Geresa Loreto, highlighted the challenge represented by this agreement and emphasized the commitment shown by the company to generate a before and after in the medical care of the population living in the district.
