PetroTal facilitated the Second Multisectoral Campaign of Integral Attention in the district, which culminated with approximately 3,600 services in health issues, management of different social programs, RENIEC procedures, among others.
The population of Puinahua (Requena, Loreto), especially those in vulnerable situations -mothers, children, people without identity documents and senior citizens-, had access to essential government services during the Second Comprehensive Care Campaign that took place in this district and which had the support and accompaniment of PetroTal, a company led and operated by Peruvians, in coordination with Tambo Bretaña of the Country Program and various public institutions.
During this activity, which took place from September 1 to 5 in the towns of Bretaña (district capital), Huacrachiro and Manco Cápac, about 3,600 health care and services related to the social programs of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS), the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (RENIEC) and the District Municipality of Puinahua were provided.
The multisectoral campaign for the benefit of the Puinahua population brought together the Regional Health Management (GERESA) of Loreto, which provided medical consultations, vaccination against COVID-19, anemia screening, dental care, prenatal check-ups, among others; representatives of the MIDIS social programs: Juntos, Qaliwarma and Pensión 65, who attended to consultations and procedures of people who wished to access these benefits, among other efforts to improve the services and scope of the programs.
In addition, the Ministry of Health, through GERESA, delivered more than 1,400 personal hygiene kits (soap, alcohol and masks) to the families of Puinahua to strengthen sanitary measures that help prevent the spread of coronavirus and other diseases.
RENIEC delivered more than 400 ID cards to both adults and minors, which will allow access to more government services, while the district municipality updated its general household register.
Luis Pantoja, PetroTal's General Manager, highlighted that this second campaign is the continuation of a multi-sectoral effort, with the support of the company, aimed solely at promoting the wellbeing of the district where the Bretaña Norte del Lote 95 field is located, and thanked the officials who took part in the campaign for their commitment.
He affirmed that his office will continue to support efforts such as these, which help to close social gaps, bringing the State closer to the population so that they can have timely access to essential services such as health care, obtaining an identity card, vaccination against the coronavirus, among others.
