Lima, January 13, 2026. PetroTal reaffirmed its leadership in the national hydrocarbons industry by registering an average production of 19,473 barrels of oil per day (bopd) during 2025. With a total volume of 7.1 million barrels produced, the company achieved a growth of 9.2 % compared to the previous year, consolidating its position as the main crude oil producer in Peru.
In the fourth quarter (4Q) of 2025, average production stood at 15 258 bopd. This result was mainly driven by the performance of the Bretaña Field (Block 95) in Loreto, with 14 766 bopd, and the contribution of 492 bopd from the Los Ángeles Field (Block 131) in Huánuco and Ucayali, operated by Ucawa Energy with technical support from PetroTal.
«We are working hard to restore our optimal production levels and strengthen cash flow, even in an environment of challenging international prices.», said Manolo Zúñiga, president and CEO of PetroTal. The executive pointed out that, after the technical problems in the pipelines of certain wells detected in August, the solutions implemented have been successful.
In the first week of January, PetroTal's production reached approximately 15 600 bopd, a level slightly higher than the preliminary projection for this year, which estimated a range between 12 000 and 15 000 bopd.



Historic milestone in Lot 95
In mid-December, the Brittany field reached an unprecedented operational milestone by exceeding 30 million barrels of accumulated production in only eight years of activity, consolidating its position as one of the main assets of the national oil industry.

Strengthening executive leadership
Coinciding with the beginning of the year, PetroTal announces the appointment of engineer Jorge Osorio as new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and general manager of the company. Osorio, who has 37 years of senior-level experience in global companies such as BP and Ecopetrol, will lead operations, engineering, drilling and corporate affairs. His track record stands out for leading organizational transformations and achieving records in safety, health and environment (HSE).
Social impact and efficiency in public spending
PetroTal's activity continues to be an engine of development for the Amazon. In 2025, transfers from the canon and oil surcharge for the Puinahua district amounted to
to S/27.1 million. In the last two years, the district has received almost S/50 million thanks to the operation of Lot 95.
Also noteworthy is the management of the District Municipality of Puinahua, which achieved a budget execution close to 100 % of canon resources in 2025. This performance, which places the municipality among the most efficient in the country, made it possible to advance with critical works such as the modernization of schools, the improvement of the main square in Brittany and the construction of pedestrian infrastructure in various communities.
