Every year, PetroTal gathers its stakeholders (stakeholders) in Lima and Iquitos to tell them about the progress in meeting its commitments and environmental, as well as its operational achievements and upcoming projects.

This is a meeting that every year attracts more and more attention and participation of public, private and civil society stakeholders who seek to learn about the company's course and express their concerns in a meeting where open and constructive dialogue prevails.

This year, Lima brought together approximately 50 representatives from different entities and institutions, among them the vice-minister of Social Benefits, Jessica Niño de Guzmán, and the president of Perupetro, Jorge Pesantes.

Also present were Graciela Arrieta, Hydrocarbons Manager of the Sociedad Nacional de Minería Petróleo y Energía; Felipe Cantuarias, President of the Sociedad Peruana de Hidrocarburos, representatives of banks, the Ministries of Energy and Mines, Economy and Finance, MIDIS, the Navy, and the Ombudsman's Office, among others.

Niño de Guzmán highlighted the coordinated work that his office is carrying out with PetroTal on for the benefit of the most vulnerable population of Puinahua., the district where the company operates the Brittany North Field of the Lot 95, which has made it possible to bring state programs and services closer to this part of Loreto.

In his turn, Jorge Pesantes remarked that PetroTal is the example that it is possible to move forward with oil projects and investments; and he emphasized that the social and environmental achievements respond to the efficient coordination between the State, private enterprise and civil society.

In Iquitos, close to 80 actors attended the event., Among them, representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Environmental Evaluation and Control Agency, the heads of the regional health and indigenous peoples' development departments, and academia, among others.  

PetroTal's Vice President of Sustainability, Raúl Farfán, and the managers of Sustainability, Environmental Management, Social Management and Institutional Relations were in charge of the presentations in Lima and Iquitos, which, in sum, showed with evidence, figures and projections that the company's petroleum activity in Lima, Iquitos, and Iquitos has been growing at the same time. company is modern, sustainable, responsible and efficient
