It organized talks for schoolchildren, a fair and a bingo, among other activities, in which neighbors were made aware of the importance of protecting nature.

A week dedicated to the care and preservation of the environment was spent in Bretaña, capital of the Puinahua district, where PetroTal -operator of Lot 95- organized various activities in which it shared simple recommendations for ornamentation and recycling, and made neighbors aware of the importance of caring for nature.

In primary and secondary schools in Brittany, talks were given on environmental care and the way in which PetroTal, a company led and operated by Peruvians, promotes its protection and preservation was explained.

PetroTal's contractors, aligned with the company's culture and commitment, gave talks with the support of the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (SERNANP), which emphasized the importance of protecting the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. The most attentive and participative students were awarded prizes at the end of the day.

On Saturday 19, in the Plaza de Bretaña, an “Environmental Fair” was held where the contractors who care for the environment in Lot 95 made their activities known to the community through stands, panels, flyers, exhibition of equipment, among others.

Children who participated in the ecomacette, declamation and storytelling contests were awarded prizes and received books, art kits, bicycles and PetroTal materials.

As part of the week, a theater workshop on environmental issues was also presented, where elementary school children played different characters in short plays with messages about the importance of keeping the home and the city clean, and respecting the flora and fauna of the environment.

The closing of the activities took place with an Environmental Bingo that ended with the delivery of four food baskets to the participants. Residents from all the neighborhoods of Bretaña came to the square to watch and participate in the activities that were the center of attention in the capital of the district where the Bretaña Norte del Lote 95 field is located.

In this way, PetroTal sought to generate a closer relationship with its neighbors and disseminate the culture of environmental protection that it applies in its operations. Parents and children expressed their appreciation for the activities organized by the company.
