He organized working meetings in Iquitos with civil society, officials, academia and NGOs where he presented his projects and initiatives in Lot 95.

In order to promote closer ties and strengthen its relations with key players in the Loreto region and the Puinahua district, PetroTal, a Peruvian-owned and operated company, organized two working meetings this week in the city of Iquitos.

The company that operates Lot 95 convened representatives of civil society, academia and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including the National University of the Peruvian Amazon (UNAP), the Prevent Project (USAID), Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS Peru), Amazon Indigenous Development Center (Cedia), Pronaturaleza, Law, Environment and Natural Resources (DAR), Despensa Amazónica, the company Electro Oriente, the Volunteer Firefighters of Peru, among others. 

PetroTal also met with officials from public entities such as Giordano Mendoza, district mayor of Puinahua, where the Bretaña Norte field of Block 95 is located, which is currently the largest crude oil producer in the country and the main source of oil royalties for Loreto.

It also met with managers of the new management of the Regional Government of Loreto, representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Environmental Evaluation and Control Agency, Perupetro, the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp), the Juntos program, the CITE Productivo Maynas, Reniec, the General Directorate of Capitanías and Coast Guard, among others.

The managers of Sustainability, Social Management and Environmental Management & Permits of PetroTal, a Peruvian-owned and operated company, explained to the attendees the projects and initiatives that the company is promoting in Block 95 and its surrounding areas.

Questions from the attendees were answered directly and transparently by the company's executives, which promoted a fluid dialogue during the two days and a rapprochement that will facilitate future coordination and synergies.
