Entered Merco's 2023 ranking in sixth place in its category.

PetroTal, a company led and operated by Peruvians, has achieved a new achievement this year, having entered the prestigious ranking of companies with the best corporate reputation in the country, prepared by Merco.

The operator of Block 95 was ranked sixth in the category of companies with the best reputation in the Oil and Gas sector in the Merco Empresas Peru 2023 Ranking. This recognition reflects the good performance of the young company at the operational, financial and sustainability levels.

Guillermo Flórez, PetroTal's general manager, emphasized that this new recognition is the result of the commitment assumed by the workers to fulfill the company's objectives and its purpose of "creating value and developing more opportunities for the well-being of all".

The Merco ranking is the result of a comprehensive evaluation that considers the opinion of financial and business analysts, social responsibility experts, among others.

The ranking, in this sense, reflects key aspects such as financial issues, commitment to society and the environment, business ethics, etc. PetroTal operates the Bretaña Norte field in Block 95, located in the Puinahua district of Loreto. It is currently the country's main crude oil producer and a benchmark in the implementation of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) criteria in its organization and operations.
