Three modern tablets Samsung were donated by PetroTal, a company led and operated by Peruvians, to reward the winners of the IX school contest "Good practices for water saving", organized by the National Superintendence of Sanitation Services (Sunass).
The contest -whose purpose was to promote the valuation of drinking water and sanitation services through artistic expressions- had the participation of more than 50 students from 15 schools in Loreto who created stories, poems and drawings about the conservation of water sources, valuation of drinking water and sewage services, the good use and reuse of drinking water, the strategic link between safe water and health, and the care of water at home, among other topics.
In the Short Story category, first place went to Niurka Babilonia Vargas, from República de Venezuela School (I.E.) Nº 60050 (Iquitos), while in the Poetry category, the winner was Erick Díaz Sandoval from I.E. 60105 Puerto Alegría Zone 1 (Belén). In the Drawing and Painting category, the first places went to Kassandra Stephania Ganoza Macedo and Luz Mariana Araujo Sevillano, from Nuestra Señora de Fátima Parish School (Belén).

The winners were delighted with the prize and emphasized that this digital tool will allow them to continue developing their creativity and strengthen their learning.
The Sunass highlighted the support provided by PetroTal to the development of the contest and its participation in the ExpoAgua Educativa 2022 virtual fair, which was also organized by the superintendency, where the company showed its educational initiatives such as its Scholarship Program and its Aprendo con PetroTal workshops, aimed at higher education students and elementary school students, respectively.
