The history, projects, achievements and challenges of PetroTal were presented by its president and CEO, Manolo Zúñiga, in the ICE Rio 2025 international conference, one of the most important oil meetings in the world, organized by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).

PetroTal, operator of the Lot 95 and Lot 131 -through Ucawa Energy-, was part of the panel that brought together independent operators invited to share their success stories. In this space, Manolo Zúñiga highlighted the oil potential of the Marañón Basin, in the Peruvian jungle, where the company's main asset is located: the Brittany Field of Block 95.

He also pointed out that, in less than eight years of operations, PetroTal has become the main crude oil producer in Peru., with more than 28 million barrels produced and more than US$$ 600 million invested.  

He also pointed out the projects and plans that the company is promoting for strengthen the productivity of the Brittany field and the Los Angeles field of Lot 131., and its sustainability model, which has promoted a social climate favorable to its activity.

PetroTal's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Max Torres, and its Vice-President of Operations, Federico Seminario, also participated in the technical conferences of the congress, which brought together the most important players in the hydrocarbons industry in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
