• Innovative products made from paiche meat, under the commercial brand King Bretaña, were presented at the ExpoPesca - AcuiPerú - Seafood Lima 2025 fair.

The hamburgers, nuggets and cuts of paiche made by artisanal fishermen from the district of Puinahua (Loreto) were exhibited at the international fair ExpoPesca - AcuiPerú - Seafood Lima 2025, The event is the most important fishing and aquaculture event in Latin America.

At the stand of the Regional Directorate of Production of Loreto (Direpro), the following products were exhibited paiche products of the King Bretaña brand, which is part of the Fisheries Innovation Project.

The project promotes the sustainable paiche fishing in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, The project aims to develop the capacities of the fishermen grouped in the Arahuana Fish organization and their families and to generate added value with the meat of this species.

PetroTaloperator of the Lot 95, supports the development of the project and the King Brittany brand, The project was developed in collaboration with allies such as the civil association Despensa Amazónica, Direpro, CITE Productivo Maynas, Sernanp, among others.

«We have come to this fair with the support from PetroTal and project partners. There are people from Lima, Peru and abroad who are learning about the work we have been doing in Puinahua,» said Watson Flóres, one of the leaders of Arahuana Fish.

King Britain's products stood out at the show for being a example of sustainability, innovation and Amazonian tradition which now seeks to reach new markets and cross borders.
