Puinahua, December 6, 2023. Children under five years of age in the district of Puinahua (Loreto) will benefit from the Early Childhood Development Module (DIT) that was delivered by PetroTal, operator of Lot 95, to promote their integral development.
The company -with an investment of more than S/. 90,000- equipped the DIT module with a laptop, projector, ecran, multifunctional printer, speaker, cartridges, television, furniture, space for babies and crawlers, drawing and stitching kit, puzzles, fiber house, slide, puppets, dolls, among others.
Guillermo Flórez, PetroTal's general manager, pointed out that the module will promote interaction, autonomy, care and emotional bonds for the children, who will have a better social and educational development.
"We are committed to creating value and developing more opportunities for the well-being of all. Count on us, we want progress and peace in Puinahua. Today is an important day and we hope to return next year and continue inaugurating new projects, more works and continue growing together," he said.
At the same time, the company delivered various materials to the Family Accompaniment Service of the Cuna Más National Program - books, balls, puppets, rattles, hoops, puzzles, cotton blankets, stories, building blocks, buckets, backpacks, play sets, among others - as part of the agreement signed between the program and PetroTal.
The Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Julio Demartini, highlighted that the agreements and alliances with PetroTal allow bringing important services and social programs to the population of Puinahua, the district where the Bretaña Norte del Lote 95 field is located.
"PetroTal is a company that has come to settle here to work hand in hand with its people (...) Behind Guillermo (Flórez) there is a whole team of people, of Peruvian brothers and sisters who are working to build their homeland, always respecting the environment, their culture, their life plan and that is very important," said Demartini.
As a result of the alliance between the Regional Health Management, the Cuna Más National Program, the Puinahua District Municipality and PetroTal, the "Zero Anemia" project was also launched, which seeks to reduce cases of anemia in children under three years of age and in pregnant mothers, through the delivery of food supplements and improved nutrition.
Delivery of Tambo Bicentennial refurbished
Guillermo Flórez formally handed over the Tambo Bicentenario, which was refurbished by the company with an investment of more than S/. 115,000, which was used to install a perimeter fence, change the mosquito netting and the ceiling of its rooms, internal and external painting, among other works.
PetroTal's general manager and Minister Demartini signed a specific inter-institutional cooperation agreement to strengthen the national program "Action Platforms for Social Inclusion (PAIS)" in Puinahua.
They also supervised the development of the multisectoral campaign in which the population was offered access to social programs, Reniec services, Regional Health Management of Loreto, Comprehensive Health Insurance, Judicial Power, Municipality of Puinahua, among others.
