▫︎ Beneficiaries of the PetroTal Scholarships held their first meeting in the city of Iquitos.
▫︎ There are 100 students who are part of the educational program of the company that operates Camp Brittany.

With the slogan “Together for Education”.”, The First Meeting of PetroTal 2025 Scholarship Holders was held in Iquitos, an event which brought together the youth of the district of Puinahua who are pursuing higher education thanks to the scholarship program promoted by PetroTal, in alliance with the Puinahua District Municipality.

During the day, the welcome to the 30 new beneficiaries who joined the program this year, which currently supports a total of 100 higher education students, all of whom are natives or residents of the district.

The PetroTal Scholarships provide financial support which allows young people to cover part of the expenses involved in pursuing a professional career, such as housing, transportation, study materials, among others. In addition, the program includes counseling and support throughout the scholarship recipients' formative stage.

The students expressed their gratitude to PetroTal for the support of they receive to advance their dream of becoming professionals and contribute to the development of their families and their community. One of the scholarship recipients said that he is the first member of his family to study at a university.

The beneficiaries come from various localities and communities in the district such as Bretaña, San Carlos, Manco Cápac, Bellavista, Huacrachiro, Jorge Chávez, San Juan de Páucar, San Miguel, Urarinas, Las Palmas, among others.

The selection of scholarship recipients was carried out through a rigorous and transparent process which considered, among others, the academic performance and good conduct of the applicants. This year, the evaluation committee was made up of principals, teachers and local authorities, thus ensuring fairness in the selection of beneficiaries.
