These young people, who are natives of the district where the company operates, entered the program after having been selected in a process where they were evaluated their academic performance, economic condition, among others.
With visible joy, the students received the modern electronic equipment in a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Puinahua, Giordano Mendoza, the Social Management of PetroTal and the Social Management of Perupetro, who welcomed the initiative and congratulated the company.
As you may recall, the PetroTal scholarship provides a financial support for students so that they can pay for part of the costs of studying a higher education, such as housing, airfare, internet, books, etc.

Prior to the laptop handover ceremony, PetroTal's Social Management Manager, Pablo Maldonado, gave a presentation in which he showed the different initiatives and social programs He called for the Permanent Fund for the Development of Puinahua (Fund 2.5), which receives contributions from PetroTal, to finance new scholarships so that more young people have the opportunity to study a higher education program that will allow them to improve the quality of life of their families and the district.
