A better quality of life is being promoted in the village of Macuya and the Los Ángeles population center, Tournavista district (Huánuco) and in the Primavera hamlet, in the Alexander Von Humboldt district (Ucayali) with nine infrastructure projects financed and executed with the Social Development Fund for Lot 131, operated by Ucawa Energy with the support of PetroTal.

The fund is financed by the contribution of equivalent to 1.5% of the value of the fiscalized oil production of the Lot 131. More than S/. 800 thousand of the fund was allocated to these nine projects, executed in key sectors such as water, health, connectivity, education and community equipment.

Its execution was made possible thanks to the work of the Board of Directors of the fund -The project, which is made up of Perupetro and representatives of the localities, with the aim of support and accompaniment of PetroTal.

These initiatives include the refurbishment and maintenance of the water system in the Los Angeles town center, the improvement of two modules of the school in that locality and the construction of a kindergarten classroom in Macuya, among other works.

According to information from Perupetro, more than 2,800 people already benefit from this infrastructure, This figure will increase with the implementation of two additional projects approved by the Board of Directors and one more project currently under construction.
