Jury will announce another 20 new scholarship recipients on October 12.

Every year more and more young students from the Puinahua district join the scholarship program of PetroTal, operator of Block 95, which provides them with important support to cover the costs of their higher education.

This week 40 new beneficiaries of this program were announced and were evaluated by a jury composed of representatives of PetroTal, UGEL Requena, the District Municipality of Puinahua, the Subprefect of Puinahua, school principals of the district, among other authorities.

The new scholarship recipients are Demi Davila, Natali Taricuarima, Conny Izquierdo, Paula Izquierdo, Jhoana Diaz, Ray Murrieta, Maricarmen Canayo, Enith Murayari, James Murrieta, Coraima Arbildo, Crober Murrieta, Rodolfo Olortegui, Marco Polo Acosta, Adriana Reyes, Wil Clinton Gonzales, Betssi Saldaña, Dimas Silvano, Sandro Medina, Rivaldo Arbildo, Richard Aquituari and José Cahuaza. They come from Bretaña, capital of Puinahua.

They are joined by Michey Canayo, Giussepi Ruiz, Joel Pacaya, Brudith Núñez and Lourdes Manihuari, from Huacrachiro; Anlly Valera, Emily Arbildo, Miguel Ángel Amasifuén and Astrid Izquierdo, from San Carlos; Cany Nashnate, Jhoana Nashnate and Jener Canayo, from Manco Cápac, Jorge Utia (Bellavista), Perlita Tapullima (Urarinas), Mario Saboya (San Pedro I), Kerli Rojas (Las Palmas), Flor de María Quinteros (San Miguel), Albert Murrieta (Manco Cápac) and Lilia Rimachi (Jorge Chávez).

The beneficiaries will receive an economic contribution to cover expenses such as lodging, food, transportation, Internet packages, supplies, among others, depending on their situation. In return, they must maintain a good academic performance and have a good conduct throughout their technical or higher education.

The qualifying jury announced that a new evaluation will take place on October 12 to determine the 20 other winners of this renowned educational initiative that provides development opportunities for the talents of the district where the Bretaña Norte del Lote 95 field is located.
